30 YEAR FIXED MORTGAGE RATE REMAINS STEADY; CURRENT 39 YR FIXED RATE IS 4.14%
MORTGAGE RATES for 30-year fixed mortgages remained unchanged from last week, with the current rate borrowers were quoted on Zillow Mortgage Marketplace at 4.14 percent.
The 30-year fixed mortgage rate peaked at 4.23 percent on Wednesday, then steadily declined and hovered near 4.13 percent for the remainder of the week.
Additionally, the 15-year fixed mortgage rate on Tuesday morning was 3.6 percent and for 5/1 ARMs, the rate was 2.96 percent.
